Paver Restoration & Sealing
Paver Restoration and Sealing in Charleston, SC
Pavers lose their joint sand over time. Once the sand is gone the pavers shift, weeds come up through the gaps and ants move into the joints.
What We Clean Paver Restoration & Sealing
Restoration is a full reset. Clean the pavers, refill the joints with polymeric sand, then seal the surface so the color holds and the joints stay locked.
How The Job Goes
Deep clean
The pavers and the joints get cleaned out, including weeds and old failing sand.
Re-sand the joints
Polymeric sand goes into every joint and gets set so it hardens in place.
Seal
Sealer goes on to lock the sand, hold the color and slow future staining.
Cure
The surface stays off limits while it cures. We tell you exactly how long before we leave.

Questions
Do pavers have to be sealed?
No, but sealed pavers keep their color, resist stains and hold their joint sand far longer than unsealed ones.
Will sealing make the pavers shiny?
Depends on the sealer. Matte and wet look finishes are both options, tell us which one you want.
How long before I can use the patio?
Sealer needs time to cure. You get an exact window before we leave the job.
